Everyone feels stress from time to time.  Some signs of stress are feeling exhausted, sleeping less and skipping a working-out.  Always keep in mind that some people gain weight during demanding & stressful circumstances.  Sometimes people eat due to emotional issues, as well.  The first step to take is figuring out a way to deal with stress and getting in control of your life.

Some ways that stress can be reduced is by doing yoga, working-out, deep breathing or taking a nap and getting more sleep.  Pay close attention if you are beginning to binge during stressful times as it is important to know that about yourself.  Do your best to make life easier.  Try doing whatever you can to be a happier person.  Eat healthy and always have positive energy!  I am cheering for you!!

How Food Cravings Affect Your Health

Sometimes eating when you are not hungry can be kept on track.  Paying close attention to what you are munching on & when you are eating is vital to control your cravings.  Take a look at your hunger signals so you can decide to make healthy choices when you feel desperate to eat.

Try to look into why you have such a big appetite.  Could it be because of stress, family or emotional challenges?  It would be very helpful if you could identify why you could be out of control.  By allowing yourself to consistently give into a poor diet and overeating behavior- you should be very aware of yourself when examining what to eat for the course of your day.  Do not deprive yourself!  Always keep in control of your health- Weight Cliquers!

Happy 2017! Incorporating Healthy Habits to your Life

Finding time to balance life sometimes can be very challenging.  During this busy time of year, chronic stress & lack of sleep can cause weight gain.  If you want to drop weight get a good nights rest so you can unwind and your body can feel good.  When life gets very frantic never neglect yourself with a healthy peace of mind by staying calm.

I would definitely recommend deep breathing to ease stress.  This can only take a minute.  Take a deep breath & stop whatever you are doing to focus on yourself.  Incorporate fun with working out such as going bowling or playing a sport with friends.  Wearing a pedometer can be very motivating as you measure your steps throughout the day.  Finding time to create a healthy living is so important.  Take time to develop healthy habits so you can have a more quality, happy lifestyle.  Always take care of yourself. Great Ways to get Rid of your Sugar Addiction

Exactly how can you break your sugar addiction?  The more you eat- the more you crave.  Sugar makes you feel good and happy.  A sugar “detox” is a wonderful way to decrease your addiction.  To cut out your hunger cravings begin to identify sugar by label reading, than you begin to train your mind to do that all the time.  Always purchase items that are sugar-free.  Eliminate high sugary cereals with adding fresh fruit to a healthier cereal…. this tastes so very yummy- as well.  Instead of purchasing soda, always opt to drink water with lemon or an orange- so delicious & very healthy for you.  Remember to always be aware of what exactly you are putting in your mouth.  As we know- sweet foods are very tempting… remind yourself that a wide variety of healthy food choices are important to help you break sugar addiction!  Best of Luck!

Ways to Manage the Holiday Season

holidaysThe Holiday Season is meant for special celebrations.  Certainly, holiday gatherings are wonderful however, it is important to simplify your holiday traditions.  Instead of going overboard with cooking a meal for everyone, perhaps it would be helpful if your family could bring a side dish or a special dessert.  Always enjoy holiday food and sweets in moderation and focus on managing fitness goals during the winter months as best as you can.

It is very common during the stressful winter months to develop a cold or flu.  Be certain to be careful by staying hydrated, washing your hands as much as you can as well as incorporating proper fruits and veggies in your diet.  Do your best to protect yourself from getting a virus.  Have a blessed Holiday Season! Great Tips to Ease your Pain

ease-painAll of us at one time or another experience pain that effects our sense of well-being.  Some pain needs to be managed professionally.  Less severe pain and aches can often respond well with these simple tips.  Walking laps in a pool gives you the exercise you need while protecting your joints.  Gentle movement can actually reduce feelings of pain.

Any immersion in hot water can be very soothing to aching muscles, whether it is a hot tub, Jacuzzi or just your bath tub can be helpful.  Applying a heating pad for 20 minutes to sore muscles can be very soothing.  Before you reach for the pain killer medication, consider some alternative methods.  Pay attention and figure out what your body needs!
