1 Avocado – Sliced

25 Tortilla Chips

DIRECTIONS

Spread lettuce on a flat platter & add above ingredients.

Special Almond Treat

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Rosemary

1 1/2 Teaspoon Chili

1 1/2 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 Teaspoon Salt & Pepper

3 Cups of Almonds

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat your oven.

2. Combine the above ingredients in a large bowl. Apply nut mixture on baking sheet line with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes until it toasted than cool the Almonds in room temperature.

Training- at the comfort of your home!

Always remind yourself- that you do not need a gym or a personal trainer to workout.. you can do this at the comfort of your home! If you are a beginner- exercising at home is the way to go! What a great way to learn about your body and begin to gain confidence within yourself! Sometimes, improving your form & techniques will help you to see results without using exercise equipment. Take notice of the motions that you make with your body- as well.

You may feel more at peace with yourself when you train at home. Also, you may truly enjoy the privacy, benefits and leisure of working-out at home. Very exciting and so comfortable, as well. Sometimes people think of physically being at the gym to burn calories, however there are others ways to burn some calories. Also, when you go grocery shopping or to the mall- try walking more quickly and carry a basket of groceries so you can gain muscle strength. Every bit of effort adds up & you can find many other ways to be creative in your daily routine. Think about what you are doing  so you can be as busy as ever with working out and burning calories. Dipped Peanut Butter Pretzels

INGREDIENTS

3 Ounces of Chocolate

1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter

25 Pretzels

DIRECTIONS

Line parchment paper on a medium sized pan

Next, place chocolate in a special, medium sized- microwavable bowl & microwave for 45 seconds than add peanut butter until it is smooth. Dip each pretzel in for entire pretzel to be coated. Place pretzel on pan & freeze for about 25 minutes.

What a sensational treat or snack for you & your family. Also, such a perfect Holiday treat! Wow- you will enjoy every bite!!! Very ideal snack for this special time of year!!!! 5 women share their secrets to losing over 50 pounds

Weight loss: 151 pounds

Gina Canakis was 298 pounds when she decided she wanted to make a change in her life. Losing her father to extreme obesity in 2013 motivated her to lose weight. She pursued weight loss surgery, but was told she would have to drop 10 percent of her weight naturally first. Once she started losing weight, she chose to continue her journey without surgery, she told Everyday Health.

She dieted for one year and lost 60 pounds, but she said she realized she needed to overcome her dislike of exercise to reach her goal. Canakis started small by walking in her driveway and she worked her way up to using the treadmill and bike machines at the gym.

Her secret to dieting was to eat her biggest meal in the morning so that she could burn it off during the day. She replaced soda with flavored water and sweets for yogurt. She encourages people who are beginning their weight loss journey to start small and keep a journal of “wins,” no matter how small.
